A space is a shared place for money with other people, like a trip, a home or a family. Everyone in it sees the same records and the same balance.
When you create a space, you choose what it is for (a label such as Family, Friends or Travel) and how it handles money, which decides how the maths works.

Questions and answers
How do I create a space?
Open the Spaces tab, tap +, name it, choose what it is for and how it handles money, and save. You become its admin.
How do I invite someone?
Open the space and choose Invite people. Enter their email and their Profile ID; they find it in Profile → Profile settings. The invitation appears in their app, where they accept or decline it. There is no code or link to send.
Why do I need both the email and the Profile ID?
So the invitation can only reach the right person. If either one doesn't match, nothing is sent and nothing is shown.
How many people fit in a space?
Up to 10, counting invitations that are still waiting. You can be in as many spaces as you like.
How do I leave a space?
Open Space settings → Leave space. You can leave once you are settled: you owe nobody and nobody owes you. If you are the last admin and others stay, make someone else admin first.
What is the difference between leaving, closing and deleting?
Leaving takes only you out. Closing ends the space for everyone, but its history stays readable. Deleting removes the space. Only admins can close or delete it.
A space sends too many notifications. Can I quiet it?
Yes. Mute the space: it stops notifying you while you stay in it.
