If money leaves or reaches one of your own accounts, it counts in your profile, wherever it happened. Money that never touches your accounts, like fund spending, stays inside the space.

Questions and answers
I paid 300 but my share was only 100. Why does 300 show as my expense?
Because 300 really left your account. The note says 200 of it was for others, and the space shows they owe you that 200. When they pay you back, it comes in as income.
Is money I put into a shared fund still mine?
Once it is in the fund, it belongs to the space and is spent by the space. It is no longer in your accounts.
Can I pay for a shared expense with money I don't track in the app?
Yes. Choose “Not tracked in the app” as the source. The space records it, and your own accounts stay unchanged.
Do other members see which of my accounts I paid from?
No. They see that you paid and how much. Your account stays private.
What about a space in another currency?
It is still listed, but its money stays out of your main-currency totals, so no total ever mixes two currencies.
